Mission District 9, Save San Francisco ! Save Station 40 !
Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015… The Mission District in San Francisco is under siege, again ! A diverse, ethnicly- rich, vibrant working class neighborhood is once again at the center of a collision between wealthy development players and the everyday citizens who struggle to survive. White-colonizer supremacy and gentrification takes on new monstrous proportions which brings to mind one of the creepiest sci-fi films we encountered back around 2010, as an in-flight movie ( released in 2009). We had to switch channels before the end, as it was truly freaking us out.
